3m Stick Extension On Komatsu PC300 - Soil Nailing Application

Stick extensions are a cost effective way of increasing forward reach, dig depth or working height, without the need to invest in dedicated front or specialist machine

Common applications include deep digging, demolition, soil stabilization, weed cutting etc
There are two types of dipper stick extensions that we can offer

Type A
Type A fits directly onto bucket linkage / quickhitch of the original dipper stick, so no modifications to this standard dipper stick needed
Additional bucket cylinder on extension operates from standard cab joysticks, so no major modifications needed in the cab
We can offer fixed angle of the extension in relation to standard dipper stick with original bucket ram replaced by fixed stay, or adjustable angle in relation to standard dipper stick, in this case a diverter valve is fitted so both original and new bucket rams can be operated from cab joystick

Type B
Type B has a hollow cone which fits directly over the end of standard dipper stick and is secured in place by pins fitting into bucket linkage - obviously there is no option for adjustable angle in relation to standard dipper, but this also does away with the need for fixed stay or diverter valve

Dipper extensions of either type are available in lengths of upto 8m

Special Dippers
Mounting conventionally onto boom, these can be built to any design to customers requirements – above photo shows an 8m heavy duty dipper for hammer use
