This distribution agreement was as a result of a very successful project by RaycoWylie to help First Square to develop their bespoke i4000 SafeDig system for teledippers, the partnership enables First Square to provide the comprehensive range of equipment that RaycoWylie supply including crane and excavator safety systems along with emerging technologies such as high quality camera systems and 360 degree AI cameras

First Square are proud to have launched our partnership with RaycoWylie to bring customers our "SafeDig" teledipper safety and asset protection system

The system allows customers to protect their teledippers from improper use using motion cut technology and also to monitor critical system parameters to allow greater productivity and minimise downtime

The system will be fitted as standard on all new 21m, 25m, 30m and 40m teledipper AND can be retro-fitted to existing teledippers for customers, it can also be adapted for fitting to other teledippers if required

Towards the end of 2025, The First square team were contacted by the LinkEnergie group in the Philippines with regards to their on-going shaft sinking and micro-tunnelling project.

Due to the space constraints of the job and the additional dig depth required, they needed a bespoke solution that they couldn’t find “off the shelf”.

After discussions with the LinkEnergie, First Square quickly got to work on a tailored solution for the customer, providing them with a specially adapted telescoping stick, extensions and the appropriate clamshells for use on their 5 site excavators ranging from 13-35 ton.

The goods are now ready, packaged and awaiting shipping. We can’t wait to see them all put to work!

The first teledipper from a fleet of eight units has been successfully installed on MAPA site in Dubai

Sany SY500 base excavators are being utilised as base

Initially assisting with TBM launch pit construction at 15m depth, later will work on top down phases of station construction at full 30m depths

This is a $6 billion multi year project, which will see 15 new stations being built, with 30km of new track, half underground and half on raised monorail beams - its a critical project for the future development of Dubai and First Square are honoured to be playing a small but important role in it, thanks to MAPA for entrusting us

It was a pleasure to visit Gramercy USA in Long Island, NY, USA last week and help then with final installation and training on their new teledipper

The paired a 21m teledipper with a Cat M322 wheeled excavator, an excellent combination that will allow them lots of reach, digging power and the ability to move the unit easily in the urban environment in which they often operate
