The ECR145's followed the explosive blasting and dug at the rock face with a combination of hydraulic hammer and Xcentric ripper Results were very good The ECR355's will go to work in coming days Thanks again guys for your order - next stop Italy !! Continuing with the current run of teledippers heading out of the door.
Another 30m Kocurek teledipper was shipped to RTI Equipment Solutions near Toronto in Canada. This unit is going to be fitted onto a Cat 352 excavator ready for use by their clients, it has been a pleasure dealing with Andrea and Brian and we look forward to working further with you in the coming months..... thank you for your business. This phase one of our supply consists of 3 x Volvo ECR355EL and 2 x Volvo ECR145EL A further two units of 145 will follow in phase two in Q4 of 2015 The five machines will be transported to the jobsite in Modane, South West France, shortly, and after short install and operator training, will go straight to work excavating access tunnels and large caverns The machines have been built to the following high specification :- Full spec heavy duty tunnel boom, tilt knuckle and stick - protected cylinders and hoses Tilt cabs to enable operator comfort when working at height in large caverns Full FOPS cage cage on legs with angled front screen to enhance visibility Track rock deflectors and strengthened undercarriage AI pedestrian detection system Auto fire suppression Auto lubrication Water spray dust suppression Air compressor and lines for pneumatic attachments LED safe work zone lights They are being supplied with a wide variety of attachments Narrow ripping bucket for high penetration and sharp roll back angle for roof work Hammer Rock wheel Xcentric Rippers XR40 and XR15 Manipulator grab to handle and safely place large steel roof supports We look forward to seeing these monsters at work over the coming weeks - watch this space for video from jobsite Thank you to Abdelkader and Stefan for braving the wet British weather on factory acceptance test, and to the wider Eiffage / Spie Batignolles team including Louis Marie and Sebastian for your order, and your interest over the course of the build - we look forward to working with you over the course of the project It's been a busy few months regarding teledippers, with units being shipped out weekly
